I have had MetLife since 2021 and barely used it, just a couple of small claims. This July my dog needed an emergency visit after several days of bloody stool. The claim was denied as pre-existing because they found a vet record about diarrhea in 2021. I do not understand how they decided those events years apart were the same condition. I am trying to appeal with my vet’s help. Has anyone managed to get a claim reconsidered with evidence from their vet?
