When my shepherd was younger, our Nationwide plan was $55 a month and paid 90% after a $250 yearly deductible. It had a $7,500 limit. As she aged, we needed more help: injections, medication, prescription food, and physical therapy. The claims were usually covered, and that made a huge difference. But the premium went to $77, then $135, and the next renewal would have been $415 a month. I can honestly say the coverage helped us, but those later prices were hard to swallow. Did anyone else have both a good claims experience and brutal renewals?

Nationwide covered my older dog really well, but the renewal price was wild
