Pet Insurance Reimbursement Calculator
Estimate how much pet insurance may reimburse for an eligible vet bill after your deductible, reimbursement percentage and annual payout limit are applied.
Estimate your reimbursement
Enter the numbers from your policy and vet bill. You can change any field and recalculate instantly.
- Eligible charges used$7,500
- Remaining deductible applied$500
- Amount after deductible$7,000
- Reimbursement before annual limit$6,300
- Annual limit remaining before this claim$10,000
- Annual limit remaining after this claim$3,700
This is an estimate. Actual reimbursement depends on the insurer's eligibility determination, policy language, exclusions, waiting periods, medical records and claim review.

How the estimate is calculated
- Start with eligible charges. The calculator uses the portion of the vet bill you expect your plan to consider eligible.
- Apply the remaining deductible. If part of your deductible has already been met, only the unpaid portion is applied.
- Apply the reimbursement percentage. The remaining eligible amount is multiplied by your selected reimbursement rate.
- Check the annual limit. If the calculated reimbursement is greater than the remaining annual payout limit, the estimate is capped at that remaining limit.
